How the Paranormal Uncovered a Royal Cover-Up.

Everywhere I looked the evidence was not there.

Vital papers had been burned.

Identities were anonymous.

The truth had not been told.

As if they were nobody.

I knew they were Royalty.

Sure, that was 250 years ago.

In Regency times.

In England.

But, incredibly, involving the very early days of British settlement in New South Wales (Australia) and New Zealand).

Who would know?

Certainly not the official line.

Not recorded history.

But I had the paranormal clues.

And they gave me enough, like the smoke, that is evidence of there being a fire.

In the end, after considerable research, I found enough smoke to show there must have been a fire.

The Prince of Wales had his position – and his head – on the line,

All good reason for the cover-up.

I understand.

Now, 25 years later, someone wants the truth to out.

Which is where my story becomes truly paranormal.

I can’t claim proof.

That’s been cleverly destroyed.

I can claim evidence like the smoke that gives away a fire.

Read my 236 page book and judge for yourself.

You’ll enjoy the fun and entertaining read.

You’ll ponder the spiritual wisdom as the Truth comes out.

In this sense, it’s a mind/body/spirit story (as well as an historical exposure).

With some romance along the way.

Reader’s Digest said, “You have discerned an amazing story.”

“It’s got everything it needs to be a blockbuster,” they said.

A Royal cover-up which, as you will see, all started with a ghost.

A ghost who appears at Chapter 3 – The Ghost of Granny Fitz’.

Buy the book ‘The Great Royal Cover-Up’ here and enjoy the great read.

Love and peace.

Urban Nomad. Who is the Smith?

I am the Smith.

I am the author.

Why ‘the Smith’?

The smiths were the crafters, the metal smiths, the blacksmiths, the makers of Medieval Britain a thousand years ago.

I am the wordsmith.

I’ve written and self-published 8 autobiographical books.

Click or tap the image above to see.

This smith has lived everywhere.

Over 50 dwellings have been my home.

An ancient aboriginal corroboree ground in a wilderness area known as Fairy Hills where the creek met the river was my first memory of life.

And only a few kilometres from the Melbourne CBD.

I’ve just learned they’ve been digging up ancient aboriginal artifacts that suggest this.

I’ve lived with psychics and healers.

And sat with mediums or channels.

I’ve lived with a Reiki Master in New York.

With a Roman Catholic nurse in the north of Italy.

With a Buddhist in the UK.

My lawyer was an Atheist.

I didn’t live with him.

I ran my own freelance copywriting business. in the ’70s

In 1972 I won an award for the best television campaign of the year for a brand of meat pies and donuts.

I was a New Age hippie.

We knew about climate change 50 years ago.

A group of us started a commune on 40 acres north of Melbourne to become self-sufficient and live off the grid.

A year later we’d failed.

I helped launch Animal Liberation here.

Our patron was Peter Singer, who was then Professor of Bioethics at Harvard., and wrote the book ‘Animal Liberation’.

45 years later it’s still active today.

I was the first member of the Permaculture Association.

Which, started by two Tasmanian academics in the late ’70s, today is changing the world

Now there are over one million people certified in Permaculture in over 140 countries with more than 4,000 projects on the ground.

I went bankrupt.

An article I researched and wrote 35 years ago – about the Swiss and Italian gold miners who came to Australia in the 1850s – triggered the launch of a Swiss-Italian Festa which is still running every year today in a local spa resort town.

Their story is in my book here.

I ran a social group called ‘The Springs Whole Health Group’.

We never ran out of guest speakers on healing topics, from ley lines to chemical sensitivity, who I’d enjoy interviewing every month before our next meeting.

Then I would write an article for the local paper which they always published on page 3 or 5.

This while living frugally in an old caravan parked at the end of a street in the spa resort town.

Over 5 years I became known as the man in the van.

I studied many spiritual philosophies.

I studied Religious Experience as an off campus mature age student at Uni –

The Christian Mystics

The Hindu Bhagavad-Gita.

Australian Aboriginal Dreaning.

I practiced Yoga for 50 years from wherever I called home.

Briefly I joined the Theosophical Society in Melbourne, with headquarters in Adyar, India, with the motto ‘There is no religion higher than Truth’.

I met and befriended the Librarian of the Melbourne branch, a Wise Woman, who taught me how and where and why to search for Truth.

What is Truth?

For a time I was married and today have the pleasure of a beautiful family of 2 lovely daughters, 3 adorable granddaughters and 2 mischievous great grandsons.

I’m truly blessed

What Happens When You Die?

A long time ago, far far away, I had a chance meeting with a Wise Woman.

She became a good friend.

Until she died of cancer a few years later.

She was the Librarian at the Melbourne Theosophical Society.

Their Headquarters is in Adyar, India.

With a motto of ‘There is no religion higher than truth’ they encourage the study of all religions.

I was in.

I threw myself into my own study of all spiritual philosophies.

Including what happens when we die.

Today I feel that our soul survives this lifetime.

And is reborn.

Lately I’ve been thinking:

Do I really want to leave this beautiful world?

With all its problems?

What if my next life is on an alien planet with no trees or birds or the smell of cut grass?

What if it’s all black-and-white without colour?

Or what if it’s a world of thought without physical form?

This is not such a bad place to live if only we could clean up the mess.

The poverty.

The destruction.

So let’s do it.

All of us who care.

You and me.

We already live in a world of thought.

Our thoughts need physical bodies to work though.

How can we clean up our beautiful planet alone?

Others are trying.

But how can we do it alone.

I know the answer:

With our thoughts.

Trouble is, isn’t it our thoughts that have created and maintained today’s messed up world.

From the pollution to the violence.

Physically others are doing all they can.

Then there’s our thoughts.

It’s your thoughts, together with mine and others, that could do the trick.

With our thought we can be there, everywhere, in a thought.

We can avoid the cruel television dramas.

The violent movies.

The computer war games.

The selective brain washing evening news.

We can replace that with our thoughts of the world we want, not the world that amuses us.

“With our thoughts we make the world,” the Buddha said.

Is it our only hope to create the world we want.

Think big but let’s think change.

Think about it.

Love and peace.

Neil.

Is This The Only Way We’re Going To Change The World Ethically, Sustainably & Quietly.

Would you like to have a crack at changing the world?

For the better.

Without leaving home.

Without lifting a finger.

Could you change the world just with your thoughts?

Could we?

Why not.

“With our thoughts we make the world”, the Buddha said.

What does that mean and how can we do it?

A long time ago a chance meeting with a Librarian, a Wise Woman, who became a close friend opened a door that I found I couldn’t resist.

Was there more to life than meets the eye?

So began my own lifelong search for Truth.

So what is Truth?

I define Truth, capital T, as everything that is unchanging, eternal, permanent, Nature affirming.

I tell the story of my meeting with the Librarian in the first chapter of my small book How Can We Change The World Ethically, Sustainably & Quietly. Ourselves.’

The other 17 chapters tell of unusual personal experiences that followed that reveal my quest to find it.

As if I had opened the door to the answers I was seeking.

Although I didn’t know it.

A second evolution.

Parallel lives.

The secret of Destiny.

What our soul can tell us.

The little known cause of climate change.

The ethical nature-affirming culture that’s already changing the planet for good.

How we can change the world ourselves.

Changing The World & Laws Of The Universe.

There are the Laws of Physics and the Laws of the Universe.

I can’t prove the Laws of the Universe but I know they exist.

For me it’s a matter of Trust.

If it was religion it would be called faith.

For me, through experience and an inner knowing, it’s Trust.

I think the Laws we live by, that the entire Universe lives by, were created at the time of Creation.

It’s a part of the Creation that’s not visible.

For example.

Newton’s Third Law of Motion says that for every action in one direction there’s another equal and opposite reaction in the opposite direction.

In many religions that Law of Physics is called Karma.

We reap what we sow.

Not judgemental.

Doesn’t discriminate.

But I think the Universal Law goes even further.

I’ve observed it in my own life experiences over the past 50 years.

I can’t deny it.

For every action in one direction in harmony with the Universe the Universe has your back and will support you.

I’ve experienced it many, many times.

For me it’s Truth.

Truth is the language of the Universe.

We might say, it’s Universal.

Then we might say, for every thought in one direction the Universe will have your back and will support you.

How do I know?

You’ll have to Trust me.

I just know it’s Truth.

And it’s taking Newton’s Law of Physics into the realm of Universal Law.

Which can’t be proven.

What if thought, then, can change the world.

Because the Universe will have your back and support you.

And because the entire Universe, including Planet Earth, is based on its own Universal Laws.

Trust me.

Love and Peace.

How You Can Change The World. Yourself.

What if you could change the world just with your thoughts.

“With our thoughts we make the world”, the Buddha said. It’s about vibration and thought is vibration. Is it possible? What if we have less negative thought in our lives and more positive thought, more optimistic thought, then maybe we can raise the vibration of the planet. Together. Because everything is vibration. What does it mean and how can we do it. Romancing your life and changing the world. It’s the title of my new inspiring autobiographical book with true world changing stories from my life. 50 Years Ago I Went On A Search For Truth. The Results Are In.

What is Truth?

Everyone’s Truth is different.

Your Truth is not the same as my Truth.

Do we even think in terms of Truth?

Like do you know your Truth?

Well, it’s taken 50 years for me to find mine.

Life changing and, maybe, world changing.

So what is Truth?

In my mind it’s whatever is real for us, unchanging, eternal, permanent.

And it’s taken 50 years to find mine.

Which is full of surprises because, for starters, I really didn’t even know what mine was.

I think maybe it’s the same for most of us.

Can you truly say what’s your Truth?

Right here and now.

That’s the test isn’t it.

Go on, tell me what is yours.

To tell you my Truth I needed 100 pages of a book.

So maybe it’s not such a simple matter.

Because it’s taken me 50 years to find.

And here’s the shocker.

It could be world changing.

I’m not kidding.

Read my world changing Truth for yourself and see if you agree.

It’s here in my book ‘Romancing Your Life & Changing The World’.

100 pages long.

Order your copy today and, maybe, we can change the world with Truth.

Love and Peace.

Neil.

I’ve written the secrets of life for you in this small 104 page book

Change your life and change the world.

We can do it ourselves.

Ethically.

We can support the environment that supports us, respect the land we live on and use it for good, have reverence for Nature including other human beings and figure out who we are and why we’re here.

Is the answer hidden in my life experiences and my search for Truth?

I was involved in many life-affirming nature-conscious ethical issues that would change our future.

What if my chance experiences are a snapshot to making this a better world?

On the cover of this book is where I live today, a quiet fishing village and holiday resort across the bay from Melbourne called Portarlington, .

Every year the town is host to Australia’s Celtic Festival and Mussel Festival.

I’ve learned much over an eventful lifetime, some of which I wish to share with you now.

I’ve had many adventures, physical, mental, metaphysical, travelling, the joy of having two beautiful daughters and three adorable granddaughters, the struggle after bankruptcy, surviving the blow of a spinal stenosis followed by the devastation of a stroke, finding a new life with my mind intact. In my travels.

I’ve met, lived with and mixed with psychics, channels and healers around the world.

I’ve studied all spiritual philosophies from mainstream religions to the Aboriginal Dreaming.

Now I wish to share with you some important philosophical and metaphysical ideas I’ve developed over a lifetime.

Who are we?

Why are we here?

What secrets does our soul have to tell us?

How are we to survive?

How are we to live?

Stop Forcing Things

Who was it that said, “Show me someone who has made mistakes and I’ll show you a person who’s lived.”

Something like that.

And that’s me.

And that’s what I want to talk about.

Living and learning.

This is not only a school, it’s a life.

Once it’s gone then it’s too late.

So please, live and learn before it’s too late.

Stop forcing things.

People say, what about “squeaking hinges”?

What about making noise to get heard?

Forcing things.

And I reply, “choose without forcing it”.

Could that be why the long-held spiritual notion of a rejection of wealth, something I lost when I went bankrupt, bobs up in religious ideas over history.

Because with money we force things.

Without it we can’t.

And therein lies a great spiritual Truth.

Without the benefit of wealth we are unable to force life to go the way we would like.

Then we’re open to our Destiny to take us where we might want to go.

Going with the flow rather than with our will.

Maybe we need to save the use of our will for other purposes.

Like healing of ourselves, and others.

You might be asking, but what about this, what about that, for example, what about the Law of Attraction?

There are many influences contributing to our choices, our actions, our lives.

There might be our Destiny, our Karma, the Law of Attraction, the intensity of our thoughts, past life memory, the influence of the issues in our lives, our habits, even our television watching habits and the emotional involvement in what we watch.

What if we were a Romeo waiting for our Juliet, a Guinevere waiting for our Lancelot, to turn up in this life?

Are we going to blow it by settling for someone we’ve forced to be our partner too soon?

What if?

There is surely a priority of the thoughts and influences in our lives depending the intensity and the degree to which each is important.

I’ve always thought that the recent talk of the Law of Attraction is only relevant so far as other influences which are in our mental make-up at the time are more important.

For example, are there aspects of our Destiny or our Karma that might override any forcing we set up as our expectation of the Law of Attraction.

And choices.

We’re free to make choices all the time.

That’s free will.

Are our chances of winning the lottery diminished by aspects to the contrary in our Karma or our Destiny or simply in our need to win the lottery over other considerations.

Are we always simply in the queue?

It’s a mix, like a cake.

Priorities are determined more by their importance on a spiritual level than our own sense of importance.

Much of which we may not understand.

It’s not either/or.

In the Tao it’s known as “wu wei”, not forcing things.

For the past 30 years I’ve lived by not forcing things.

I had no choice.

I was bankrupt.

I chose to go with the flow.

I was not prepared to be a victim.

And it worked.

Read more in my book ‘Man Steps Off Planet’.

It’s about how not forcing things led to incredible adventures and a life far beyond one of loss and poverty.

That would be missing the point.

Maybe it will change your life like it changed mine.

I was once an advertising copywriter and my book was a product of survival after losing everything.

Buy the book and improve your life like I did.

Best wishes.

How to Survive in a Material World.

There’s a secret truth we need to know about living, and surviving, in this material world.

That secret is hidden in the meaning of the word ‘serendipity’.

This magic word is about setting yourself up for unexpected and unplanned events and experiences that, well, we don’t expect and can’t see coming.

They seem to be hidden in our worldly lives, waiting for us to activate the experience before serendipity steps in and reveals what it’s holding back.

In all innocence I tried it in the real cruel material world and gradually got to see and experience it’s magic.

Many times it saved me from living on the street or on a park bench when I had nothing.

It led me to homes I could never have owned or built for myself.

I came so close to being stranded in London.

I might have been stripped of everything I owned in New York.

I overstayed my welcome in Italy.

Was it serendipity that saved me?

I experienced the kindness of strangers when they invited me to live in their old caravan parked outside their home in a small country town in the Aussie bush.

I lived there and had many unexpected adventures for 5 years.

With nothing.

Was this serendipity taking care of my life’s needs helping me survive in a material world?

I’ve revealed my secrets in my 244 page book ‘Man Steps Off Planet’.

It’s a minute by minute story of my adventures with 9 exclusive hints at the end of the first 9 chapters.

Serendipity in action.

All without the pie-in-the-sky, the lecturing, the theory, this is a practical book about the real world, about real survival, about surviving life.

Read my book and enjoy the adventure.

And learn about surviving in your own world.

Find out my 9 exclusive hints.

Learn my serendipitous secrets through trusting life.

Best wishes,

Neil.

The Young Man (me) and the Librarian.

Don’t you hate walking into a strange building for the first time not knowing where to look or where to go first. That was the case when I first met Dorothy, the head librarian. It was the start of a long and beautiful friendship until the day she died.

She looked a bit like an older Shirley MacLaine and called herself Melbourne’s Queen of the Psychics. It was this first meeting with Dorothy that my life took a whole new turn which has lasted for the rest of my life.

I want to share this moment with you just in case you want to follow her advice.

So my question to her was, where do I start searching for Truth?

She went off and returned with these 2 books on metaphysics and said, start with these –

“The Inner Life”

“The Hidden Side of Things”

You can find these books and others by the same author on Amazon here.

She sat me down and, for the next hour, spoke to me about the very things I wanted to know. As she spoke I was thinking, is this woman reading my mind or what? During that hour she proceeded to answer so many questions that were going through my mind.

Perhaps you’ll feel the same from reading your copy of one of those books. They’re available on Kindle for a few dollars each.

From that day on I would call in to the Theosophical Society library, she’d invite me to sit, and we’d talk for an hour or more. I asked for a course on the meaning of life and each time she’d find just the books I needed.

It was an amazing time.

She taught me all she knew.

Before long we became friends. I’d be invited to her apartment in the inner city area today occupied by office blocks. Again we’d chat about “the inner life and the hidden side of things”.

That subject became my passion and, although I’ve moved on from Theosophical thought, I’ve continued to be drawn to follow the belief that there’s more to life than meets the eye.

Sadly, many years later, after my contact was more with her daughter, I heard that she had passed away. I was confident that she was now in a position to investigate that unseen world she taught me so much about while still here in the physical realm.

Dorothy, you changed my life at a time I was still so young and searching for answers.

Today, not so young or so in need of answers, I acknowledge your role in changing the direction of my life. Thank you.

Best wishes.

Neil.
