Your Mind is Your Guardian Angel.

Listen to it.

Your mind knows all.

It’s that still small voice in your head.

Because your mind is the link between you and your soul.

Your mind is your soul guiding you.

Not your physical brain.

Your mind.

It can’t be measured, weighed, seen, evaluated or removed.

It’s what leaves us at the time our physical body gives up the ghost and ceases to be a living creature.

It’s our mind that our body “gives up”.

It’s the secret of eternal life.

Of reincarnation.

Of eternal youth.

So listen to your mind.

Follow its guidance.

It’s your guardian.

Don’t believe me?

Start listening and testing its advice and you’ll become hooked.

You don’t need to change anything or do anything or spend anything.

Just be still and listen.

Love and peace.

Namaste.

How Can We Change The World (Sustainably)?

I tried to change the world back in the ’70s.
With reverence for Nature.
Sustainably.
It was called Permaculture.
It was a brilliant concept.
To create a permanent, self-sustaining, life-affirming culture.
A culture that respected the land beneath us.
I’ve written a book about this and other sustainable concepts to change the world.
Ideas we can all, individually as well as collectively, use right now.
Get it here.

Permaculture is about working with
rather than against Nature.

Created over 40 years ago by two
academics from the University of Tasmania,
Prof. Bill Mollison and David Holmgren,
today it’s a successful worldwide
phenomenon that’s changing communities
and transforming lives.
Small communities are thriving where
before they were poverty stricken and failing.

Permaculture is greening the planet, a
little at a time, and I hope this social saviour
continues to change the world.

From whole communities to suburban
backyards it’s use of plants and clever design
principles is creating an intelligent solution to
the realistic use of Nature to enhance lives.
For years I’d been reading copies of the
‘Organic Gardening’ Magazine and studying
the principles of organic gardening, no-dig
gardening, chemical-free gardening and other
sustainable self-sufficient ways of living.
Then along came the new Permaculture
and I threw myself into learning about it.
I bought a copy of their new book
‘Permaculture One’.
I was there at their weekend workshop
in the Dandenong Ranges in Victoria where I
sat with other enthusiasts including Professor
Bill Mollison, one of the founders, and the
Deputy Prime Minister, Dr Jim Cairns, who at
that time was leader of the new Down-to Earth
movement and was leading the record anti-Vietnam War protests in Melbourne.
We bought a cottage on an acre of land
near the town of Daylesford fully planning to
create my own Permaculture acre and move
in to live my own self-sustainable life off the grid.

My dream never happened. Then.
For a few years my peaceful cottage in
Victoria’s Central Highlands was my sanity
retreat from the stressful world of advertising
in Melbourne which was heading downhill to
eventual land me bankrupt.
I had to sell my Permaculture dream to
help finance my fast disappearing business.
I never recovered.
Fifty years later I feel the time has arrived to look again.
“The only ethical decision,” said Bill
Mollison,“ is to take responsibility for our own
existence and that of our children.”

Buy my new world-changing book here.

Love and Peace.

You May Say I’m a Dreamer

Do you think you’re a dreamer?

We live at a time when I’m not sure if dreaming is acceptable.

What do you think?

Will you admit to being a dreamer?

Or do we live in a world that expects us to be busy, busy, busy, all the time?

Maybe it’s not so much expected of us but that it’s a case of reality.

Perhaps we no longer have any time for dreaming.

If that’s true, then we surely have lost something in our world, our way of life, our reason for living.

So the big question is, would you LIKE to be more of a dreamer?

Would you like to spend more time in your head, thinking, dreaming, creating castles in the air?

In my story of life without money I talk a lot about what happened to me when I had less time for stressful activities and plenty of time to let it all go.

Magic happened.

I dared to dream that anything was possible.

And that is what happened.

The unexpected appeared.

I’ve written every detail, every experience, every event that appeared out of nowhere and took me on a magical ride without a plan.

Like a dream that took me from zero to hero.

It’s a spiritual story.

You can read the rave reviews here or order your copy of ‘Man Steps Off Planet’.

It’s full of twists and turns.

One review calls it a “fun and entertaining” read.

See for yourself.

Stop Forcing Things

Who was it that said, “Show me someone who has made mistakes and I’ll show you a person who’s lived.”

Something like that.

And that’s me.

And that’s what I want to talk about.

Living and learning.

This is not only a school, it’s a life.

Once it’s gone then it’s too late.

So please, live and learn before it’s too late.

Stop forcing things.

People say, what about “squeaking hinges”?

What about making noise to get heard?

Forcing things.

And I reply, “choose without forcing it”.

Could that be why the long-held spiritual notion of a rejection of wealth, something I lost when I went bankrupt, bobs up in religious ideas over history.

Because with money we force things.

Without it we can’t.

And therein lies a great spiritual Truth.

Without the benefit of wealth we are unable to force life to go the way we would like.

Then we’re open to our Destiny to take us where we might want to go.

Going with the flow rather than with our will.

Maybe we need to save the use of our will for other purposes.

Like healing of ourselves, and others.

You might be asking, but what about this, what about that, for example, what about the Law of Attraction?

There are many influences contributing to our choices, our actions, our lives.

There might be our Destiny, our Karma, the Law of Attraction, the intensity of our thoughts, past life memory, the influence of the issues in our lives, our habits, even our television watching habits and the emotional involvement in what we watch.

What if we were a Romeo waiting for our Juliet, a Guinevere waiting for our Lancelot, to turn up in this life?

Are we going to blow it by settling for someone we’ve forced to be our partner too soon?

What if?

There is surely a priority of the thoughts and influences in our lives depending the intensity and the degree to which each is important.

I’ve always thought that the recent talk of the Law of Attraction is only relevant so far as other influences which are in our mental make-up at the time are more important.

For example, are there aspects of our Destiny or our Karma that might override any forcing we set up as our expectation of the Law of Attraction.

And choices.

We’re free to make choices all the time.

That’s free will.

Are our chances of winning the lottery diminished by aspects to the contrary in our Karma or our Destiny or simply in our need to win the lottery over other considerations.

Are we always simply in the queue?

It’s a mix, like a cake.

Priorities are determined more by their importance on a spiritual level than our own sense of importance.

Much of which we may not understand.

It’s not either/or.

In the Tao it’s known as “wu wei”, not forcing things.

For the past 30 years I’ve lived by not forcing things.

I had no choice.

I was bankrupt.

I chose to go with the flow.

I was not prepared to be a victim.

And it worked.

Read more in my book ‘Man Steps Off Planet’.

It’s about how not forcing things led to incredible adventures and a life far beyond one of loss and poverty.

That would be missing the point.

Maybe it will change your life like it changed mine.

I was once an advertising copywriter and my book was a product of survival after losing everything.

Buy the book and improve your life like I did.

Best wishes.

How to Survive in a Material World.

There’s a secret truth we need to know about living, and surviving, in this material world.

That secret is hidden in the meaning of the word ‘serendipity’.

This magic word is about setting yourself up for unexpected and unplanned events and experiences that, well, we don’t expect and can’t see coming.

They seem to be hidden in our worldly lives, waiting for us to activate the experience before serendipity steps in and reveals what it’s holding back.

In all innocence I tried it in the real cruel material world and gradually got to see and experience it’s magic.

Many times it saved me from living on the street or on a park bench when I had nothing.

It led me to homes I could never have owned or built for myself.

I came so close to being stranded in London.

I might have been stripped of everything I owned in New York.

I overstayed my welcome in Italy.

Was it serendipity that saved me?

I experienced the kindness of strangers when they invited me to live in their old caravan parked outside their home in a small country town in the Aussie bush.

I lived there and had many unexpected adventures for 5 years.

With nothing.

Was this serendipity taking care of my life’s needs helping me survive in a material world?

I’ve revealed my secrets in my 244 page book ‘Man Steps Off Planet’.

It’s a minute by minute story of my adventures with 9 exclusive hints at the end of the first 9 chapters.

Serendipity in action.

All without the pie-in-the-sky, the lecturing, the theory, this is a practical book about the real world, about real survival, about surviving life.

Read my book and enjoy the adventure.

And learn about surviving in your own world.

Find out my 9 exclusive hints.

Learn my serendipitous secrets through trusting life.

Best wishes,

Neil.
